In 2020 the Chang Group opened Hey Cha Tea Company at Shoppingmall Gelderlandplein. Hey Cha is a Taiwanese concept that specializes in bubble teas. These are very popular drinks in Asia which contains tea- and/or milk & tapioca balls. The little balls are made of Cassave root, this gives the bubbletea an extra bite and is the reason why this drink is so popular. Mainly natural ingredients are being used at Hey Cha. The milk is delivered fresh from the local farmer which makes the bubbletea extra creamy. Vegan options are also possible.
Besides the delicious boba drinks they also offer a Selfservice Instant Noodles concept, the first one the Netherlands. The concept is very easy, choose your noodles and toppings, pay at the register and prepare your own bowl of noodles at the selfservice station.
